Hearn Ventures is led by Matt Hearn — a small business owner first, and a technologist second. Matt has spent his career on both sides of the table: seven years as a professional software engineer, and years as a real estate agent and investor who founded and ran his own vacation rental management company. He holds a Master's in Real Estate Development from Auburn University.
That combination is the point. Matt has managed bookings, guests, vendors, payroll, and thin margins — the actual texture of running a small business. So every engagement starts where an owner's mind starts: where does this create business value? More revenue, lower costs, hours back in your week — not technology for its own sake.
